Positive: I think I would have to say everything the host Javad is such a sweet person and so helpful. The facilities were very clean. It’s nice to have a little refrigerator in your room and of course air conditioning very comfortable beds plenty of showers and bathrooms to share and I really enjoyed the courtyard where we could all gather to eat to drink or just to chat. I would definitely recommend the courtyard cottage. I will definitely be returning.❤️❤️❤️

Positive: This place was exactly what we needed for 4 nights in Athens – the price is affordable and adequate to the standard, it actually exceeded my expectations! The terrace is big and the wifi is great, clean bathroom, AC and own fridge in the room. I met the owner and he was super nice, he didn't have a problem with leaving our bags after the checkout, when we wanted to walk some more around the city before the plane in the evening. The area is in the non-touristic city centre, super close to the Metro. I recommend.
Negative: It's not a place for you if you are a fancy-mainstream tourist and not interested in the real Athens experience.
Summary: Amazing place, I will be coming back

Positive: It is very cozy the room we had opened up into review of the surrounding street and personally that was really cool. The AC blew cold all night and felt safe. Pretty much all you can ask for. There are other places that cost more that don’t feel that way. Javad was also very helpful and friendly as a host. Definitely want to come back next time I’m in Athens.
Negative: Nothing really.

Positive: There was a good internet connexion
Negative: There were no proper doors in the bathroom and no locks. There was no kitchen. There was no sound isolation between rooms. The ground floor of the house is in total renovation which makes noise and dust. The courtyard is not as neat as the pictures shows. Regarding all of it the price is still too expensive even if its low.
Summary: Place still in renovation, not totally ready for a proper rent

Positive: Javad, the proprietor of this establishment, is such a delightful and generous man. After suffering through a non-violent robbery elsewhere in Athens, he was willing to loan me many items to allow me to more than salvage my trip. The room itself is great with fantastic high ceilings. The Google Maps thumbnail image might ward you off with the graffiti but it's a bit of a misrepresentation. It's a well cared for property.
